About the role:
The Asset Management team is currently seeking a Transformation Specialist Asset Management to join them for a 12-month fixed term contract on a Monday-Friday roster based at the West Perth office.
Reporting to the Principal Business Asset Management, you will be responsible for converting the Asset Management Strategy and Transformation Plan into practical and sustainable improvements through process simplification, operating-model improvement, data and system enablement, AI and automation, governance and change adoption.
This position will work closely with Asset Management leaders, Reliability and Maintenance teams, Technology and Data, and site operations.
Duties:
- Translate strategic priorities into sequenced change plans that balance value, risk, control and operational continuity
- Lead workstreams across multiple teams and turn complex problems into practical plans
- Analyse data and systems to identify opportunities for improvement
- Identify process pain points, duplicated effort, bottlenecks, data-quality issues and opportunities to improve how work gets done
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to scope, gain approval for, and implement selected AI tools and automation
- Build stakeholder alignment and influence through clear communication, constructive feedback, training and change adoption
- Facilitate and apply structured change management, capability uplift, training and adoption practices so changed ways of working are understood and sustained across the various teams
- Ensure efficiency gains are captured when asset performance, reliability, safety and control effectiveness are sustained
Skills and Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Asset Management, Business, Technology or related discipline
- Extensive experience in asset management, maintenance, reliability, engineering, operations improvement or transformation roles
- Proven experience delivering and tracking process improvements, service and operating model design, systems or digital change in an operational environment
- Proficient with SAP and maintenance systems, asset data, planning processes, reliability improvement or capital delivery
